Disruption

Most Log cabins are relatively light structures and only minor works are usually required for the bases.

Planning

Most log cabins don’t need planning permission. It’s not required if:

It takes up less than 50% of the garden area (including any other garden building)
Its floor area is less than 30m2
It is no taller than 4m (3m if it has a flat roof)
It is no closer than 1m to your garden boundary and no less than 5m from your main dwelling

The timber for our log cabins is grown in renewable forests. Modern production processes mean there is minimum wastage, even the shavings and chippings produced as off cuts are used to make pellets and used as heating fuel.

The timber is slow grown, which makes the wood harder and more resistant to warping. This results in a long lasting product.
